So far in YSI there has been a lot of confusion about choosing a topic that we all agreed on.
At the start everyone had agreed on doing it on healthy eating and what it does for your wellbeing, we called this “food for thought”
The weeks after we chose to do this more people got added some people left and then the idea didn’t suit everyone so we changed it to homelessness.
We still followed through on our ideas for food for thought for wellbeing week we handed out ribbons to each year group, each year got got a different colour ribbon symbolising different things for example my year got a purple ribbon for creativity.
So far in our YSI to do with homelessness we have hada talk with Frances Doherty from Peter McFerry trust to give us a quick brief on the ins and outs of homelessness and what they are doing to date to try and help people get of the streets.
