On the 16th of November there was a Careers Evening for 4th,5th and 6th years.
When we arrived in the junior school Hall there were many tables set up around the room.
The first table that I went to was about being a solicitor this went on for about ten minutes and she basically went through how she became a solicitor and what made her want to do it.
The second table that I went to was about being a Montessori teacher and this was probably the one I found most interesting because I loved how if you did this course you could be a primary school teacher too but only in a private school and if you wanted to work in a public school you would only have to do an extra 6-8 weeks of extra Irish.
The last table I went to was architecture; the reason why I went here was because all the other ones were full so I went here.
One thing that surprised me was that there are many, different types of architects courses.
I really enjoyed the evening and look forward to the other ones next year.
