Today on the 9th of November we were brought down to the Halla Nua for a CPR course.
Firstly we watched a video of the most important aspects of CPR we needed to know such as what way to place your hands and the rhythm we were to do it in.
We also learned when it was necessary to preform CPR and what were the signs to show someone needed CPR.
When the video was finished we were then given an inflatable person to practice what we had learned on.
We had to make sure one hand was placed over the other and when we were pushing down we heard a click so that told us were doing it right.
I really enjoyed this and I look forward to learning more about this and other things in the First Aid course later on in the year
